ALTREFORME is an Italian brand producing furniture in aluminium. The company is born in 2008, in fact, as a spin-off of Fontana Group, Italian company founded in 1956, having its headquarters in Lecco and being leader in design and production of aluminium bodies for the most famous top cars all over the world, like Ferrari and Rolls Royce. ALTREFORME collections, all rigorously Made in Italy, are developed thanks to the will of its founder and Art Director Valentina Fontana. Being also Vice-president of Fontana Group, Valentina Fontana has always been fascinated by the properties of aluminium and she is the one who first believed in the possibility to apply the company unique know-how and the vanguard technologies used in the field of luxury automotive to the world of design.

ALTREFORME, the sole Italian design brand producing furniture pieces and complements besides pop-original accessories in aluminium, took part to Salone del Mobile di Milano showing its most representative collections.

The international event, reference annual stage in the field of furniture and design, stands, by the way, as the perfect scenery for its 10^th-anniversary-celebration, which retraced the path walked so far through the projects which have clearly marked its identity along the way.

Setting: the ideal room of a boutique; main character: aluminium, the most versatile material that, thanks to the incomparable know how of the company masters, showed its extraordinary attitude to be molded into new and unexpected creations – furniture, objects, complements, lighting projects – boldly combined with surprising colors.

To celebrate its first 10 years activity, ALTREFORME presented Raw&Rainbow, another special project dedicated to the anniversary celebration, a limited edition composed of ten sculpture complements designed by many famous designers who have already collaborated with altreforme over the years: Antonio Aricò, Serena Confalonieri, Marcantonio, Alessandro Zambelli and Zanellato/Bortotto.
