"The exhibition-event, from 17 to 20 February 2023, has been dedicated to freedom in jewellery and fashion accessories.
So many applications for the new area created in collaboration with Poli.Design, more then 120 selected Designers will showcase over 150 creations at Homi Fashion&Jewels.
We love who has a vision.

We love who looks ahead.
We love those who anticipate the times.
Behind every creation is the creative and visionary mind of the designer who made it.

This is why HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition, for its February 2023 edition, has chosen to showcase VISIONARIES: a space born of the important collaboration with Poli.Design, dedicated to the #visionaries who have been able to interpret the seasonal essentials and trending colours of the two macro trends, Too good to Be True and Like me, Like me Not, presented during the last edition of HOMI Fashion&Jewels Exhibition.

Although at its début, VISIONARIES has already met with great success, receiving in a short time many applications from all over the world: the selection of experts, who will bring the creativity of more then 120 Designers to the pavilions of the event, was not easy.
Italy, Israel, Macedonia, Mexico, Spain, France... 150 wonderful creations from all over the world with a strong inspirational content will allow a total immersion in the lively future that awaits the segment.

The area will welcome the most innovative proposals in terms of materials, shapes, styles and colours to further enhance their creative essence and bring the expertise of the creators to the forefront, confirming HOMI Fashion&Jewels as a dynamic hub capable of marking time with trends.

A JOURNEY INTO THE SEASONAL MUST-HAVES
In collaboration with Poli.Design, in September 2022 the event presented guidelines that we find in current trends.
During the last edition of September 2022, Homi FASHION&JEWELS presented ideas, suggestions and insights on the evolution of contemporary costume, suggesting those stylistic inspirations that are today the basis of the most current concepts.
Two macro themes were identified by the survey conducted with the collaboration of Poli.Design, each developed through four related microtrends:

Too good to Be True IS CHARACTERIZED BY FOUR MICRO TRENDS:

Nature Supremacy
Nature Supremacy tells of nature’s supremacy over the artificial world. A protagonist of the present, the natural world is enhanced, safeguarded and used as formal inspiration.
Space on Earth
Space on Earth takes the formal and superficial inspirations that come from space and transfers them into the real world. Spacesuits, futuristic-looking inflatable accessories and alien spacecraft descend to Earth to invade it with their aesthetics.
Hyper Boom
Hyper Boom immerses itself in the digital world by capturing the languages of augmented reality, the technologies that increasingly populate objects and the aesthetics of numerical codes.
Happily Ever After
Happily Ever After celebrates love in all its forms. With the end of restrictions on gatherings, there is a boom in weddings and an increasing demand for accessories that can make the promise of eternal fidelity tangible.

Like me, Like me Not - MACRO TREND
It emphasizes the beauty of contrasts, freedom of expression, indifferent to the judgment of others. In a contemporary context where likes dictate fame, success or define a person's talent, this trend aims to redefine the importance of being and not liking. It thus explicitly declares when one is trying to be something that one is not; excesses are not hidden but peculiarities are enhanced.

Like me, Like me Not IS CHARACTERIZED BY FOUR MICRO TRENDS:
Wannabe
Wannabe is what one would like to be. It is a race against stereotypes interrupted by the urge to express oneself, a desire to play the role of someone else, an awareness of the impossibility of achieving the myth of perfection.
Overflow
Overflow captures the beauty of the soft shapes of the body and its irregular, welcoming softness. Narrow volumes, defined by too narrow containers, become manifestos for free self-expression.
Trial and Error
Trial and Error celebrates the discovery of the best way to achieve a desired result or a correct solution by trying one or more ways and noticing, eliminating or accentuating errors. The process is repeated until perfection is achieved or until the imperfections are appreciated.
State with Color
State with colour uses colour as a design constraint. Used individually or mixed together, colours take on heterogeneous meanings and shapes to satisfy the most eccentric tastes" (HOMI Press Office).
