Mandello del Lario, LC - Italy
It is an ancient village set in the mountains of the Grigne and has a very romantic lakefront with delightful corners.
The alleys of the historic center flow onto the lakefront, a walk that makes you fall in love in all seasons and at all times of the day, especially at sunset.
Continuing you reach the public gardens, a green area, also equipped with children's play area.
In addition, Mandello is also known for two important events, the music festival called Sonica (from 1 to 3 September) and the Motoraduno Guzzi (from 9 to 11 September).
What you never take for granted, when you decide to take short trips, in Mandello you also eat well, there are various restaurants and what we would like recommend is Mamma Ciccia in Piazza Roma, 15 (+39 371 3389845) which in addition to being a bistro has a cooking academy, and also offers delightful rooms and holiday homes.
Another place we recommend is ''Le Coccinelle B&B'', enchanting and finally for those who want to take boat trips, along the lake, there are various itineraries.
