RANDITAN by Randi Tannenbaum
Can excellence be accorded with environmental friendliness? Luxury and green-thinking? It is, indeed, possible. What could be more exclusive than something that, as well as being fabulous and unique, respects the environment throughout its manufacturing processes?

It is by pure chance that I came across a photo of the CLEO'S PLACE project by Alexander Howen architecture (I was conducting research on a completely different topic), and the first thing that crossed my mind was... WOW what an explosion of Colors!!!
I set it aside and continued doing what I was doing, but... those colors really got stuck on my mind, and after some time I went to access that picture, found and set aside a few more so that I could present you this project.
The colors are bright, but with a balanced variety, happy and in harmony, giving this apartment a modern tone with a clear reference to the industrial past of the building. Lighting is another one of the aspects that make it unique, but it is the soul, in perfect #SaturdayRecycling style, that shines through the furniture, which make it really special.

RECYCLED GLASSWORKS by Lauren Becker (238 Bonview St, San Francisco, CA 94110, U.S.)
"In 1996, I started Recycled Glassworks because glass is a wonderful material, both for reuse and for tableware.
My work does not consume any brand-new materials (even my packing materials are reused). Yet the resulting dishes look new and fresh. Plenty of glass exists already; it does not degrade over time. Bottle glass has an established recycling infrastructure. Plate glass, however, ends up in landfill, unless it gets upcycled into a second life" (Lauren Becker)
