The short film STOP PLASTIC of Carducci School (ICCS Pestalozzi – Florence) won the first prize of the Social Film Festival ArTelesia 2019, in the “School & University” category. 

The short film is the final product of “Plastic Free School and City” project, ideated and coordinated by Maria Vittoria Cangialosi, Professor and Ecotoxicologist, with Greenpeace and WWF collaboration.
The short film has the aim to sensitize schools, citizens, politicians and multinationals and reports the main actions of the children.

(Born in 2008 on the Cultural Free Theatre in the town of Telese Terme (BN) initiative, the most important center of the entire Telese Valley which originates from the ancient Samnite-Roman city Telesia, the ArTelesia Film Festival arrived in 2019 in its eleventh edition it characterized as the most important film event in the area and one of the most important of Campania.

ArTelesia Film Festival, directed to combine cinema and territory, is an International Competition ascertained cultural and social value: cultural as it makes the film pedagogical tool, designed to train the younger generation; social for the special "Section DiVabili" dedicated to cinema made by directors and actors with disabilities or treat the disability.

The Festival is proud of the collaboration of the Foundation "Gender Identity Culture" (GIC), the synapses of the University Center of the University Federico II of Naples, the patronage and financial support from the Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Tourism Activities, the Region Campania, the Province of Benevento, EPT Benevento, the Chamber of Commerce of Benevento and the Moral of the Patronage of the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Labour, the Ministry of 'Education, University and Research, dell' UNAR - Office National racial Discrimination, the Campania Region Film Commission, Arcigay Naples, University of Sannio, the University Suor Orsola Benincasa of Naples, University of Salerno, University UCAM San Antonio de Murcia (Spain), the City of Telese Terme, the City of Benevento.

So many names of people who have participated in past editions dell'ArTelesia Film Festival, among them: Gigi Marzullo, Hugh Gregory, Calopresti, Cesare Bocci, Massimo Wertmuller, Maurizio Gemma, Francesco Paolantoni, Sebastiano Somma, Maurizio Casagrande, Emilio Solfrizzi, Christiane Filangieri, Anita Zagaria, Sabrina Paravicini, Pine Quartullo, Ernesto Lama, Fioretta Mari, Sergio Fiorentini, Lucia Batassa, Gabriele Rossi, Sergio Assisi, Andrea Bosca, Antonella Stefanucci, Alessandro Borghi, Riccardo Zinna, Denny Mendez ...

Over the years they were awarded short films and feature films of high quality from different parts of the world, in an event which recorded a turnout and favor a growing part of the public as to draw the attention of the media, press, web tv and local radio, and in particular the intervention of RAI 3 on site.
